I rushed to get changed and slipped out via the secret exit so I could head to my own apartment to grab my go bag with Rogue none the wiser. Next on the agenda was the hour-long trip north to grab our unsuspecting guest, which I used to decompress after my challenging afternoon.

Who knew pretending to be my sister would be more work than being a serial killer? Honestly. I’m exhausted.

The muffled shouts of the man chained in the center of the room are a small consolation to the overall pain in the ass my life has become. Yeah, Etta’s definitely going to owe me for this.

Taping the four sheets of pristine white paper containing a very lengthy list of sins to the cement wall in front of me, my eyes scan all of the ways I’ll make him pay. My mind finally begins to shift gears as it eagerly anticipates letting some of our demons loose.

Even at fifteen, broken and raw, drowned by my nightmares, there was a part of me that flourished in the darkness. I was the daughter of a ruthless MC President after all. Had seen more shit than any teenaged girl had a right to. I took hold of the demons threatening to consume me with both hands, refusing to give in to my fears. And when faced with my enemies, I let the demons fuel my need to make them pay. To make them suffer the way I suffered. All while my father looked on, holding himself back because he knew that I needed to do it myself.
